Broken Ground Screws

The battery ground screw is used to attach the battery to the frame. Sometimes, due to cross-threading or over-torquing, it can break. If this happens, the broken screw must be removed to properly ground the battery module and ensure overall safety.

Identify Battery Module Parts

Terminals

To connect the battery in a pack.

Safety Valve

This will release the electrolyte gases in case the pressure inside the cells exceeds the limits.

Ground

This is located in the bottom and is used to secure the module to the frame and additionally serve as the ground.

Temperature Well

Used to measure the temperature of the module in a test setting or when assembled in a pack.

Heat Sink

Alluminium casing on the either side of the module is meant to dissipate battery heat.

Interlocking Mechanism

Interlocking mechanics is provided to lock the battery modules for efficinet ventilation and structureal integrity.
