Scope
During this appointment, we will:
- Scan your hybrid system for relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
- Offer a verbal overview of your battery's health and system status.
- Provide clear next steps if hybrid battery repair or replacement is needed.
Please note:
- We only diagnose hybrid battery-related issues
- We are not general automotive mechanics
- We do not clear/reset codes, as this may mask underlying issues or cause harm
Prepare before you arrive
To ensure a smooth diagnostic process:

Make sure your vehicle has enough fuel and that the engine is operational. If the engine has mechanical issues, replacing the battery may not start the car.
02.
Empty your trunk and rear seat, as we need clear access to the hybrid battery.
03.
Ensure the car has valid insurance and registration documents for the test drive after service. If these are not available, please inform us in advance.
04.
If your vehicle is being towed in, contact us before arrival to coordinate properly.
05.
Upon arrival, please reverse your car into the parking spot to allow easier access for our technicians.
Disclaimer
- This diagnostic is free of charge and is limited to hybrid battery systems
- We do not guarantee that battery replacement will resolve non-battery issues
- Any further service, including replacement or repair, is a separate appointment
Warranty Repair Information
If you decide to proceed with a hybrid battery replacement after diagnostics:
- You’ll receive a warranty of 1 year or more, depending on your vehicle and battery type
- Any major issue with the battery typically shows up within the first hour
- Minor problems, if any, usually appear within the first 1 to 3 months
- If your vehicle runs problem-free for 3 months, it’s a strong sign of long-term reliability
- All warranty repairs must be done at our Surrey location
- Physically damaged, burnt, or tampered batteries are not eligible for warranty
- We require the original battery supplied by us for any warranty claim
